Assistant County Counsel II

This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with decision makers in fulfilling important policy objectives for Oregon's second largest and fastest growing county. This position would provide assistance and legal advice for ongoing and proposed large transportation and construction projects that are necessary for the County and region's economic health. The selected candidate will work with an experienced and professional team of attorneys and staff working on cutting edge of government law.

Successful candidates will possess a law degree from an accredited college or university; and four years of responsible legal experience, preferably with experience in litigation, including condemnation cases, government contracts and government construction projects; and be a member of the Oregon State Bar and admitted to practice law in Oregon State Courts; and possess ability to be certified before the U.S. District Court for the State of Oregon, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
