Join the Victim Rights Law Center for a free training CLE on how to use existing state and federal civil laws to address sexual assault survivors' most pressing needs.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, women and girls in Oregon experience the 2nd highest rates of rape and sexual assault in the United States. These victims need your help! The Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC) is launching a new pro bono project that offers free legal services to victims of rape and sexual assault on housing, employment, education, privacy, safety, immigration, financial security and other legal matters.

The VRLC is a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to changing our nation's response to rape. For over 10 years, in partnership with hundreds of pro bono attorneys, the VRLC has provided free legal services to sexual assault survivors in Massachusetts. Now, for the first time in Oregon, the VRLC is launching a sister program to replicate our ground-breaking work in Mass.

To register, please RSVP to Mary Darcy at mdarcy@victimrights.org. For more information, call the VRLC at 503-274-5477. Visit the VRLC website at www.victimrights.org. OSB MCLE credits to be requested.
