Thinking About Going Solo?

A Solo & Small Firm Workshop

Are you considering solo practice after spending time in a firm or are you thinking about starting your own firm right out of law school? In this CLE you will hear about the experiences of several of your colleagues who have successfully made the jump to solo practice. They will share their decision-making processes with you and some of the expected and unexpected situations they encountered when making the transition. You will also hear from a representative of the PLF who will offer a general overview of things that need to be considered when going solo. Joining us for this discussion will be Marisha Childs, Clackamas Women’s Services Legal Enrichment Accelerator Program Managing Attorney, Rachel Edwards, Practice Management Attorney for the Professional Liability Fund, Jorden Piraino with the Oregon Legal Center, Hertsel Shadian from Hertsel Shadian, Attorney at Law, LLC and Heather Unger from Unger Family Law, LLC
