YLS Community Service Opportunities with Project Lemonade
During the month of June, the YLS Service to the Public Committee invites you to donate to or volunteer with Project Lemonade, a Portland nonprofit that supports foster youth by providing resources for them to realize their gifts and gain confidence so that they can achieve success in school and life. Please reach out to Lindsey Daniel at lindsey@gleamlaw.com if you are interested in volunteering or if you have questions about donating or volunteering.
In-Person Service Opportunity - Saturday, June 11, 10:30am-12pm
Our volunteers will be working at the Project Lemonade store located in Lloyd Center, which serves 2,000 foster youth in over 24 counties in Oregon and SW Washington each year by offering them the opportunity to shop for new and nearly new clothing items free of charge. Participants will learn more about Project Lemonade's efforts and work a shift at the Project Lemonade store. The event is limited to 10 volunteers.
