The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is five years
old this March. Challenges to the Act continue and, indeed, one of the
most important challenges will be heard by the United States Supreme Court on
March 4, 2015. However the Court rules, the vast majority of the Act is
and will remain with us, and it is the practitioner's responsibility to
understand the basics of this legislation.
