Arbitrations in Oregon: The What, Where, Why, and How

Arbitrations, either through AAA, ASP, JAMS, or private arbitration, are playing a larger and larger part in civil dispute resolution. With the US Supreme Court’s decision to endorse class action waivers in Epic Systems Corp., arbitration has become even more prevalent. The recent trend of legislative barriers to private arbitration - including ORS 36.620(5) - are unlikely to turn the tide. Hear from Brad Krupicka and A.C.
