Navigating the Future: Key Legal Challenges for Institutions of Higher Education in 2025 and Beyond

$35 for MBA members | $55 non-members

As we move into 2025, institutions of higher education are facing an increasingly complex legal landscape. Join Miller Nash education team partners Michael Porter and Jollee Patterson for a session that will explore the most pressing legal issues impacting colleges and universities, particularly in the wake of executive orders and other federal developments under the new administration. Key topics will include the potential impacts of executive orders related to immigration, student rights, Title IX regulations, and federal funding, and considerations for institutions as they seek to stay true to their missions during these federal policy and priority shifts. While focused on higher education, this presentation will also address constitutional issues such as freedom of expression, federal preemptions, and other matters relevant to general practitioners.
