Strategic Complaint Drafting: A Jury Trial Lawyer's Perspective

$35 for MBA members | $55 non-members

An effective complaint informs the public, sets the scope of discovery, and provides the foundation for instructing the jury at trial.

In this CLE, Michael Fuller with the Underdog Law Office will discuss strategic considerations in drafting complaints to best accomplish your client's objectives. Michael has tried eight cases to verdict in the past two years in state and federal courts, including two seven-figure verdicts for plaintiffs in cases ranging from tenant rights to wrongful death.

Topics will include what facts to allege, what amounts to plead, what claims to assert, and applicable state and federal pleading requirements. The CLE will also discuss the nuances of drafting complaints in high profile cases and large class actions.
