The Oregon State Bar is presently accepting public input on a new proposal that would allow paralegals to provide limited legal services in matters of family law and landlord/tenant cases.
For her February listening session, MBA President Jovita Wang invites members to learn about and provide feedback on the OSB Board of Governors' paraprofessional licensing proposal with special guest Judge Kirsten Thompson, chair of the Paraprofessional Licensing Implementation Committee for the OSB.
For more information on the proposal, please see the OSB Paraprofessional Licensing Implementation Committee website. Comments can be emailed to the committee at paraprofessionalcommittee@osbar.org. Anonymous public comments are also being accepted.
