Loving Day 2025

In honor of Loving v. Virginia, Multnomah County Judges will be officiating free wedding ceremonies for couples from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing socioeconomic hardships. This celebration supports access to justice and highlights the importance of ensuring that all individuals have equal opportunities to participate in marriage ceremonies recognized and protected by law.

Do you know a couple that wants to be married but are facing barriers? Join us for this event is in collaboration with local non profits, the county, Multnomah Bar
Association, Oregon Women's Lawyers Association, and Oregon's specialty bars.

For couples seeking to be married:
All couples must be prescreened by a case manager todetermine eligibility and assistance.Any questions about registering can be directed to StefanSaing at stefans@irco.org.
Do you want to volunteer?
We are asking for a limited number of volunteers to assistcouples in completing their paperwork and supporting judgeswith the weddings.
