Women in High Courts

Oregon Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Duncan will speak about her pathway to the bench, and PSU Professor Chris Shortell will discuss his recent research on women in high courts. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with Justice Duncan. Oregon Women Lawyer's travelling exhibition "History of Women Lawyers in Oregon" will be on display.

Celebrate four judges (US Magistrate Judge John Acosta, Oregon Supreme Court Justice Aruna Masih, Washington County Circuit Court Judge Maalik Summer and US Court of Appeals Judge Jennifer Sung) who have made History in Oregon and hear them talk about their pathways to the bench. OHS will be displaying their exhibit "Oregon's Landmark Legislation" during this event.
