Managing Attorney
The Legal Empowerment Accelerator Program (LEAP) of Clackamas Women’s Services in partnership with A Safe Place Family Justice Center for Clackamas County is a post-graduate program designed to help recent Oregon law school graduates and other new attorneys establish their own law offices while simultaneously serving domestic and sexual violence survivors who lack access to low-cost legal representation.  The Managing Attorney will provide mentorship, expertise, and leadership to participating attorneys in the substantive, procedural, and administrative aspects of law practice and law office management.  Interested applicants should review the complete position description and application information at  Application deadline:  3/5/2019. Labor and Employment Attorney

Ideal applicants will have at least 6 years specializing in employment law with experience as a first chair attorney representing employers in Washington and Oregon state and federal courts, including disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, and non-compete claims. Applicants must also have experience providing employment law advice and counseling to employers, as well as drafting various employment-related documents such as employment agreements, employee handbooks and severance agreements, plus a solid knowledge of state and federal labor and employment law.
